11/19/2023 0 Comments Ncaa football betting odds las vegas![]() It's Sunday! And that means it is time for Las Vegas to set the odds for next week's college football games. By morning, it jumped again to 1.5-point favorites, and it is still moving. ![]() Overnight, the line got to WVU being a one-point favorite. Before the pod could even post, though, even *more* money came in on the Mountaineers, shifting Neal Brown's team from a slight underdog to a slight favorite. That was when we recorded the podcast and noted the heavy money coming in on WVU. It quickly dropped to 1.5 and, by the next day, was down to one. When the line reopened on Sunday, the Mountaineers were two-point underdogs according to multiple sportsbooks. In this case, things have changed drastically in favor of WVU. Thus changes in the line for certain games. For those unfamiliar, Las Vegas and their sportsbooks typically want the money evenly split between the two sides, guaranteeing the casinos a win. As I mentioned on the preview podcast - which was recorded Wednesday afternoon and went up early Thursday morning - nearly 90% of all cash being bet on the game was coming in on WVU to win outright. Since then, however, major money has come in on one team and is shifting the line in a major way. The original Sunday story about the betting odds for this weekend's Backyard Brawl can be seen below. ![]() VIDEO: Which transfer out did WVU need the most? ![]()
